Valmorel, the most authentic ski resort in the Tarentaise valley
Created in 1976, Valmorel is a 4th generation resort that has taken advantage of the experiences of other resorts in the Northern Alps that came before her. Today, it is the first resort of the Tarentaise valley, only 12 km from the bottom of the valley, so it is easily and quickly accessible. It is located at an altitude of 1,400 meters, facing north, which ensures a high quality of snow cover.

The architects of the resort used noble and local materials: slate-covered roofs, wooden and stone facades… It is a modern but intimate resort, where all activity revolves around the central pedestrian street, with its coloured facades and arches.
